Idaho Falls – Countertop Fabricator
Position Summary:
The Countertop fabricator will be responsible to produce plastic laminate and solid surface counter tops and to promote the efficient operations of Johnson Brothers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Setup, operate and maintaining Countertop Shop equipment and woodworking machines.
- Constructs, assembles, finishes and repairs Various Countertop styles from solid surface to Formica.
- Performs rough and trim woodworking duties.
- Maintain neat and safe work area through regular cleaning.
- Reads blueprints, shop drawings, or written instructions to determine method and sequence of assembling units.
- Package and load finished products for shipping by trucks. Both by forklift and manual labor as necessary.
- Observe all safety regulations; participate in safety training; report all unsafe conditions to the appropriate company personnel. Is consistently at work and on time.
- Engage in all other tasks and responsibilities as directed by your supervisor.
Qualifications, Education and Experience
• Must be able to lift 100 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Ability to read tape measure.
• Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, division, fractions.
• Must be able to work well with employees in stressful situations.
• Must possess high school diploma or equivalent.
This is a drug free work place and subject to pre-employment drug testing.
Works M-F 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Might work extended hours
